In an exciting competition involving six other schools, the Lanfranc team of Joe Boafo, Drew Michael, Cain Bradley, Mitchell Daley, Yucel Deniz and Keiran Headley-Callendar battled extremely well - in many cases against older opposition - and finished an excellent second out of seven overall.
The competition was split into six leagues, with our best player in league one and so on down to league six. None of our players finished below third in their respective leagues, which helped secure our final position.Particular mention should be made of Mitchell Daley and Daley Boafo. Mitchell won his league in a play off after tying in first place, and Jo was involved in a three way tie for first on league points, but in the play off/points countback system of scoring, he was eventually placed third in league one.Perhaps most satisfying of all was the exemplary conduct and behaviour of all six of our players. So from the school I feel it appropriate to say a massive well done to each and every member of the team.
