Walk to school week is next week. The theme is Walk 'n' talk. The idea is to get you to see the social side of walking and chatting with your friends. Lets's face it - walking is often a more reliable way of getting to school on time!
Walking:
- saves time waiting for the bus
- is great for the environment
- gives you a chance to have a good catch-up with friends
- gives parents some more freedom in the mornings
- is a healthy start and end of the day
- does not cost a penny
