We are excited to be taking part in LloydsTSB National School Sport Week, supported by the Youth Sport Trust, which will take place from 29 June to 3 July.

The week aims to encourage our pupils to be more active and do more sport using the London Olympics as our inspiration. Leaflets will be distributed describing how pupils can commit to achieving their sporting goals and record their progress. Parents are encouraged to take a few moments to look at the leaflet and see how they can support their children with their Sports Pledge.

The programme is a great opportunity for us to celebrate our successes in PE and school sport and profile all the wonderful work that has been taking place in our school. The week will also support the Government's PE and Sports Strategy for Young People and help us launch new sports-based initiatives in the classroom, on the playing fields and outside of school hours.

We hope that your child will benefit from participating in this exciting initiative and enjoy the programme of events we are planning for the week. If parents are interested in getting involved please get in touch - we would be delighted to have you on board.
