Y8 Croydon Cup basketball - Spring2

After a little bit of disappointment in the Croydon schools basketball league this year, the year 8 girls’ team went to play Harris Crystal Palace in the semi-finals of the Cup.
The team was fantastic! They all played strongly on the court and worked well together as a team. Tamara Reid and Annika Davda led their team by example. They played superbly in defence and took every opportunity in front of the basket.
The final score was 26-2 which was a fantastic result for the girls who have trained hard all season. The victory was thoroughly deserved.
The girls now face Harris South Norwood in the final which will be played after the Easter break.
