Here are the results from fixtures completed in a very busy week:
Basketball
Yr 9 Boys’ v. Carshalton Boys College – Lanfranc won 62-38
Yr 9 Boys’ v. Shirley – Lanfranc won 58-32
Yr 8 Girls’ v. Harris Crystal Palace – Lanfranc won 8-4
Yr 8 Girls’ v. Edenham – Lanfranc won 20-0
Yr 8 Girls’ v. Harris South Norwood – Lanfranc lost 18-20
Netball
Yr 7 Girls’ v. Harris Purley – Lanfranc won 16-1

Only two fixtures had their results recorded this week, which were:
Girls' Netball - Yr 7 v. Harris Crystal Palace - Lanfranc won 11-8
Boys' Basketball - Yr 7 v. Shirley - Lanfranc lost 16-31

Here are the results recorded from fixtures played in a rather chilly week:
Boys' Football - Surrey cup 2nd round v. Tomlinscote - Lanfranc lost 2-4 in extra time
Girls' Basketball - Yr 9 Borough Tournament - Lanfranc beat Woodcote 20-10
- Lanfranc beat Norbury Manor 18-2
- Lanfranc lost to Harris Soth Norwood 4-12

With only one result recorded this week, we are sad to say that Lanfranc lost their last fixture of 2011. Mr Tolley's Year 8 football team travelled into deepest South-West Surrey, and lost the match 2-4 against Tomlinscote school. The game was very even, but two penalties to Tomlinscote made the difference in this Surrey Cup 2nd round match.

Despite only one fixture having been played so far this week, Lanfranc P.E. had a lot of pressure on the Yr 11 Netball game against Westwood school played last night - Thursday 5th January
We knew that if Ms. Howe and her team could win this game, our girls' would win the Croydon Year 11 Netball League. The whole team duly obliged with a strong and pacy performance, eventually winning 11-5 to cement the game and overall league victory. Well done to everybody involved in the team throughout the season.

There has been just one result recorded this week, which was in Yr 7 Boys' Basketball. Lanfranc lost to Harris Crystal Palace, by a scoreline of 10-16.
