This year saw a departure from our normal Work Experience (WEX) format. In addition to the completion of year11 in January, we trialled WEX with year10 in April/May and it proved to be very successful with employers and students alike (see Student Feedback report below).The highest number of students found their own placement, 70%, and as in the past, these students gained the most benefit and enjoyment from their two weeks in the world of work. We also received the fewest number of queries from employers about our students during the WEX period. Below are a few quotes from employers about our students:
