All pupils undertake two weeks work experience during their time at the school. Currently this takes place during year 11 but from 2010 work experience will be undertaken whilst pupils are in year 10.
The time spent at work allows them to mature and develop key skills for the future as well as providing an insight into possible career pathways. Placements are matched to pupils' preferences for job type and location. However, the most succesful and enjoyable are often those that the pupils find themselves and all are encouraged to find their own placement.
