The Archbishop Lanfranc School

To coincide with the unveiling of Michael Elmgreen’s and Ingar Dragset’s ‘Powerless Structures, Fig 101’, the latest artwork to decorate the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square, the Mayor of London held a schools competition for students to submit their own designs for the plinth. Shusana Thirunavukarasu [year 9] is the Croydon Borough winner. Her work entitled ‘Surprise’ was selected by Elmgreen and Dragset and will be exhibited at City Hall throughout May.

Congratulations to Shusana and well done to all students who entered the competition as the standard of work was very high.
