On Wednesday 23 March we were assessed for reaccreditation for the NACE Challenge Award for our gifted and talented provision.
Two assessors spent most of the day in school, examining documentation, observing lessons and interviewing teachers and pupils.
I am delighted to report that we have once more achieved the standard to be awarded this highly coveted quality mark.
Today, the CEO of NACE, Rowena Gaston, telephoned to offer her personal congratulations. She informed us that we are only the 17th school nationally and the 7th in the secondary sector to have achieved reaccreditation.
A huge “well done” to everyone and especially to Mr Shakeri who led the staff team through the process.
It goes without saying however that the true stars on the day were our pupils.
