We have just received a clutch of GCSE results for the current year 11. These include two modules in chemistry, a geography module and the final citizenship examination.
The results indicate quite how highly our year 11 pupils can achieve this summer. Of the 380 results across all the papers, nearly a quarter were at A* or A grades and two thirds were at grade C or above.
There remains much to be done, including basic hard work in lessons and homework and attendance at planned revision sessions. I am very confident however that we will see record breaking results this year.
Congratulations to year 11 on what has been achieved so far!
