Quiz - the play's the thing

Some culture for our quiz as after all Maureen is an English specialist.
We’ve had fun with names so:
“What's in a name? that which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet;”
Which character and which play?
As Maureen’s retiring:
“If all the year were playing holidays
To sport would be as tedious as to work.”
Which character and which play?
But then, perhaps the following is more apposite:
“Why, then the world’s mine oyster,
Which I with sword will open.”
Which character and which play?
