I am delighted to be able to announce that, following a rigorous selection process, we have decided on next year’s head and deputy head boys and girls.
It has been a particularly rewarding, if challenging, task this year as the year 10 prefects, from whom the appointees are selected, have proved to be quite outstanding.
The young men and women chosen this year are exceptional pupils, having already made conspicuous contributions to the life of the school. In addition to prefect and house captaincy duties, they have between them represented the school at, among other things, a range of sports, debating, conferences, workshops relating to the new school and healthy schools inspections!
I know they are seen as positive role models by the other pupils and am sure they can rely on the support and cooperation of the whole school community in fulfilling their new responsibilities.
