Thomas Barber, who left us in 2008, has gained a place at Pembroke College, Oxford, where he is going to study jurisprudence (law).
Thomas’s success will come as no surprise to those who remember him. Not only was he head boy and a very prominent member of our debating team but he also managed to gain 8.5A*, 2A and 1C grades in his GCSE examinations and grade A in AS ICT.
Thomas made a fantastic contribution to the life of the school and was always a tremendous ambassador for Archbishop Lanfranc. He is currently completing his “A” level studies at Wilson’s School.
We wish him all the very best with his Oxford experience and feel absolutely confident this will lead to a glittering career.
