A great performance by our team of five: Shilpa Pradeep, Natalie Dent, Sharmarke Ali, James Smithson and Charlotte O'Shea who came second in the Croydon Borough Book Quiz. The team of avid readers beat off opposition from the following teams: Archbishop Tennison's, Harris Academy Purley, Oasis Academy Shirley Park, Selsdon, Thomas Moore and Woodcote. They were only two points behind the eventual winners, Riddlesdown. The team put up a fine performance in this closely fought competition and were thrilled with their prize winner's bags. Riddlesdown Lost 1-3 Boys Basketball - Yr 9 v. Harris Crystal Palace Won 67-25 Boys Basketball - South London finals - Both Yrs 10 and 11 Won their respective finals, and are South London Champions - well done everybody! The scores in the finals were: Yr 10 v.Wimbledon College Won 65-32 Yr 11 v. Carshalton Boys Won 71-64 |

New Boy Battles for Bronze in Birmingham Archbishop Lanfranc athletes made a barnstorming start to the 2010 Athletics season with major successes at all the Indoor Athletics Championships; five at the National Championships and successes at the Southern area and Surrey Championships. The school currently has 7 athletes ranked in the top 20 UK performers. |
