Financial Management Standard in Schools (FMSIS)

The Financial Management Standard in Schools is an assessment tool which allows a school to determine where it stands in comparison with the Financial Management Standard. This in turn helps it to achieve longer term improvement in financial management through targeted action planning.
The evidence gathered when the assessment is initially completed by the school is necessary to inform the external assessment process. There is a single assessment tool that is used by both schools and external assessors.
We successfully met the Standard in 2007 and 2010.
